Meet Georgia

Teaching Artist

With a nurse-midwife for a grandmother, birth doula for a mother and a teacher for a father, it's no surprise that Georgia discovered an affinity for childcare and youth work from an early age. After receiving her "babysitting certificate" from the local community center at 12 and nannying throughout high school, Georgia attended The Boston Conservatory, where she earned a BFA in contemporary dance. It was there that Georgia discovered a passion for teaching, eventually pursuing an emphasis in Dance Pedagogy.

Georgia has served on the faculty at Boston Ballet School, The Brookline Ballet School, Xela School for the Deaf & Blind in Guatemala, and as the Performing Arts Program Director at the Boys & Girls Club in Chelsea. Apart from teaching, Georgia works as a freelance stage manager and is also a certified birth doula.

Georgia founded Mini Moves Party Co. to serve children of the Greater Boston Area, bringing a little something special to any celebration!
